George Wills

Founder

Owner and Director of the company, George Wills is a well known and respected figure in the local community. He has over thirty years experience in dealing with families during the loss of a loved one and he can offer advice on all matters relating to funerals, be they small family services or large tributes to distinguished individuals. While George is still very much involved in the business, he now entrusts the day to day management and operations to his daughter Heather and Funeral Service Manager, Robert Tripney.

Managing Director

Heather, the daughter of George Wills, oversees the management of both Little’s Family Funeral Service and Little’s Chauffeur Drive. Having worked in the family business since the early 90s, she shares her father’s dedication to ensuring that each and every family that entrust Little’s with their funeral arrangements, is provided with a very personal and caring service from the moment they get in touch.

Robert Tripney

Funeral Service Manager

Following in the footsteps of his father, Robert started in the funeral industry in 2013. He began his career as a Funeral Service Operator, progressing to become a Funeral Director before joining Little’s Family Funeral Service in 2021 as Funeral Service Manager. He is currently studying towards gaining a Diploma in Funeral Directing with the NAFD.  Robert has extensive experience and knowledge of national and international repatriation, has arranged and conducted funerals all over the country and has conducted funerals for all faiths and religions.  Robert has a great passion for the funeral industry and his main focus is helping families at their greatest time of need.  You will usually find Robert at our Head Office in Muirend and he always makes himself available to families requiring his very special levels of care and attention.

Funeral Director

Having previously worked in the hospitality industry, Robert originally joined Little’s Family Funeral Service in 2018 as a trainee Funeral Director. Robert primarily works with Mark Tait at our Cardonald Branch and is currently studying towards gaining a Diploma in Funeral Directing with the NAFD.

Mark Tait

Funeral Director

Mark started working in the funeral industry in 2018 and joined Little’s Family Funeral Service in October 2021 as a Funeral Service Operative. As well as having spent many years volunteering as a boxing coach to some of Scotland’s prominent and upcoming talent, Mark has an extensive career in retail management and customer services which shows in the care and devotion he shows to all that require his help at Little’s. Mark recently was promoted to Funeral Director and is now based at our Cardonald branch.

Conor O'Neill

Funeral Service Operative

Conor started his career in the funeral industry in 2018 and joined Little’s Family Funeral Service in August 2021. Before joining the industry, Conor worked as a Team Manager for an energy company and is well versed in conversing with the public and helping people in difficult times.  Conor is working towards becoming a Funeral Director and joined Little’s Funeral Service as he wanted to develop his career in a more client focused environment, where he can maintain continuity and dedication to families in their time of need.

Catharine Anderson

Head of Marketing & Brand

Catharine originally joined the Little’s team in 2010, working at our sister company Little’s Chauffeur Drive. She left the company as an employee in 2014, but continued to work on a consultancy basis, managing all the marketing activity for the company. Catharine started working for the Funeral Service side of the business in 2020 during the pandemic, assisting with communications around the restrictions enforced on funeral services and ensuring that local families knew how we could continue to assist them during the most difficult of times. In October 2021 she returned to Little’s on a permanent basis and now handles all the communications for both Little’s Family Funeral Service and Little’s Chauffeur Drive.
